Justin ForsettSunday Evening Wrap checks out players who increased or decreased their value during the Sunday afternoon games.

Riser of the Week: Sure, it was against the Rams, but you'd be hard-pressed to convince me that Julius Jones is better than Justin Forsett. The second-year player from Cal filled in for the second straight week as the starter for the injured Jones and he did not disappoint. Forsett carried the ball 22 times and gained 130 yards -- including two touchdowns. He didn't catch a pass, but we've seen his ability to be valuable in the aerial attack in the past. Unfortunately, Jones will probably be back next week, which will mitigate Forsett's fantasy value. Should the Seahawks need him later this season, though, he'll be helpful in Week 15 against Tampa Bay and probably against Houston in Week 14. He should definitely be owned in most fantasy leagues by now.

Faller of the Week: It appears the Falcons rushed Michael Turner back far too early. The man we call "The Burner" was anything but that against a previously awful run defense (the Bucs came into the game as the worst run defense in the NFL). He was able to muster just 33 yards on 12 carries before leaving with his high ankle sprain re-aggravated. Playing Turner Sunday could have further deteriorated his chances to perform well down the stretch, so this was a big blow. His value is drastically diminished at this point. Meanwhile, Jerious Norwood returned and looked much better than Jason Snelling, so that's who you want as the patchwork RB in Turner's stead. And next week's matchup against Philly is not a very good one.

Other Shifts in Value

Kyle Boller - The two picks aren't good, but Boller flashed that big arm into 282 yards and a touchdown. He also nearly had a rushing score. The offense is definitely more balanced with him at the helm.

Jason Campbell - Two passing touchdowns and a rushing one. He would have been a great spot play for Ben Roethlisberger owners this week.

Jason Avant - With five catches for 94 yards, he was the top option for Donovan McNabb Sunday against the league's top pass defense. Looking forward, DeSean Jackson suffered a concussion, so you can upgrade Avant in the short-term.

The Carolina Panthers - Why only 25 carries for Jonathan Stewart and DeAngelo Williams compared to 35 pass attempts? The result was four interceptions, a loss and thousands of pissed off Williams fantasy owners.

Jets D/ST - Sure, it's not exactly difficult to pick Jake Delhomme apart, but the Jets did hold the Panthers' running attack down -- even if they only had to do so 25 times instead of the 40 run plays I'd have called. When the opposing running attack can't get going and Darrelle Revis has chances to hurt you, he will. This unit will be a good play next week against the Bills.

Steve Slaton - The good news here is Slaton started the game on the field and only had one less carry than Chris Brown. Slaton also had 17 total touches and converted them into 106 yards. He's working his way back, slowly but surely. With Jacksonville, Seattle and St. Louis up for the next three games, keep him in your plans.

Donald Brown - He's still just not getting the work Joseph Addai is. The Colts clearly aren't even close to considering a committee approach. Plus, Chad Simpson got a late touchdown. You could safely cut Brown in most leagues.

Brady Quinn and the Browns - They don't play the Lions again. Just an FYI.

Chad Ochocinco - Carson Palmer is going through a rough patch right now, and it's killing Ocho. Only 38 yards against the Browns.

Anthony Fasano - 74 yards receiving is pretty serviceable for a tight end. The Dolphins will have to be more reliant on the passing attack without a viable second runner behind Ricky Williams, and Chad Henne's not a great down-field passer. Thus, expect a lot of shorter route passing moving forward. Love Fasano as a sneaky pick up in deep leagues.

Fred Jackson - Good news all around for Jackson. He had 20 touches (and gained 116 yards). He was the closer (getting the carries and touchdowns in the fourth quarter) and Marshawn Lynch was a non-factor when in the game. Definitely hold onto Jackson if you have him and grab him off the wire if he's available. The Bills seem to be improving and he can take a hold of this job.

Cadillac Williams - He salvaged himself today with a receiving touchdown, but he's not usually used in the passing attack, so I'm writing that off as a fluke. Running-wise, it was not a good day for Williams against a pretty sub-par run defense (10 carries for 30 yards). Derrick Ward is carving into his workload, too.

49ers D/ST - Six sacks and two takeaways against the Jags looks good. What looks better is that they have Seattle this coming week and close the season with Detroit and St. Louis (Week 17 won't be fantasy relevant, but it's worth mentioning how good the Niners' defense should close).

Mike Sims-Walker - It seems like we discuss him every week. The Jags do have three consecutive home games and seem to play much better there. Hold him.

LaDainian Tomlinson - The two touchdowns are window dressing. There's no reason a quality NFL running back would be held to just 39 yards rushing on 13 carries against the Chiefs. And he lost a fumble. LdT's value is totally dependent upon getting goal line carries. Those will continue, but if he starts getting stuffed you'll be sorry he's in your lineup.

Vince Young - Think he's all legs, huh? 387 passing yards say you're wrong. That last drive and final pass were a thing of brilliance. His confidence is only going to keep growing. He's worth an add in all leagues as the Titans continue to get their groove back.

Beanie Wells - And things don't get any easier with Minnesota looming this coming week, either.

Percy Harvin - Banner day for the rook. He went over 100 receiving yards in a game for the first time in his career, grabbed a touchdown and threw in 45 rushing yards to boot. He's a special weapon and is only getting better.

Pretty much everyone on the Bears - What a joke. Enjoy them against the Rams next week, because closing with Green Bay, Baltimore and Minnesota is going to render almost everyone useless.
