Did the injury bug hit your fantasy football team like it was a car windshield moving at 100 MPH? If so, it may be time to do some Damage Control.Quarterback
• Matt Hasselbeck, Seahawks - Hasselbeck revealed that his shoulder was sore after throwing 51 passes on Sunday. He even banged it up a bit in the first quarter. He'll be given Wednesday off but expects to play in Week 10.
• Jason Campbell, Redskins - Campbell mildly sprained his ankle against the Falcons on Sunday but is expected to be fine for his Week 10 matchup.
Running Back
• Glen Coffee, 49ers - Coffee suffered a concussion during a kick return in Week 9. Since the 49ers play on Thursday there isn't enough time to medically clear the running back. He's already been ruled out for Week 10.
• Brandon Jacobs, Giants - Jacobs injured his knee on Sunday causing him to miss snaps. The coaching staff has downplayed this injury saying that it isn't a big deal. He should play against Atlanta in Week 11, after their bye week.
• Frank Gore, 49ers - Gore was poked in the eye and suffered an eye contusion on Sunday. He stayed in the game even though his eye was swollen and should be able to play in Week 10.

• Justin Gage, Titans - Gage took a hard fall on Sunday and was just a bit shook up. He's sore now as if, as Jeff Fisher put it, "he fell off of a ladder". He should play in Week 10.
Kicker
• Lawrence Tynes, Giants - Tynes injured his knee in a failed field goal attempt on Sunday. He should be fine for Week 11 after he rests during the Giants bye week.

• Aaron Kampman, Packers - Kampman suffered a concussion on the fourth play of the game but still played through the injury. His status for Week 10 is uncertain.
• Thomas Davis, Panthers - The Panthers are being tight-lipped concerning Davis' knee injury, but rumors are that it is serious.

yeah i own Portis, westbrook, Calvin johnson, mcfadden and Owen Daniels. welcome to my fantasy season :-(
I have never and will never take portis or Westbrook in my drafts for that very reason.Portis and westbrook while awesome when they are healthy and on the field can never stay on the field so if you draft them you must make sure to have abackup plan as you already know they will miss time sometime during the season.Though I owned Daniels as well and had to get backup plans when he went down.I had to pickup dreesen and Finley as they were the best options in a 16 team league.
