Sorry, owners of Tom Brady, Ben Roethlisberger and Carson Palmer -- you'll have to look elsewhere, and Matt Cassel ain't gonna help. A number of quarterback controversies and injuries are also making like difficult looking for a spot-starter, and the bottom half of this week's set of rankings are pretty ugly. For some, this might be the right time to execute a trade to bring a quality signal-caller into the fold. There should be teams in your league with two quality QBs, and if you can trade a Palmer or Cassel along with another piece for one of those two QBs, it's going to help you now and in the long run.

• With news breaking today that the Titans are starting Vince Young on Sunday, I've moved him into the spot previously held by Kerry Collins. While Young hasn't proven himself from a fantasy standpoint just yet, there are several things to like about this move for Week 8. The Jaguars are almost as easy to pass on as Young's Titans, and top Jacksonville cornerback Rashean Mathis is officially out. The Jags have nothing that comes close to resembling a pass rush either, so look for Young to have a lot of time to throw on Sunday. I like his chances at success in his first start of 2009.
• The top five listed are unbenchable in any matchup, and then next comes the refreshed David Garrard. He's done a solid job with the passing offense, although a lot of the credit must go to breakout sensation Mike Sims-Walker. Garrard's matchup can't possibly get any better, and unless you're rocking an elite QB1, Garrard should be your starter in Week 8.
• I'm lovin' Kyle Orton in Baltimore this week. Baltimore's defense doesn't strike fear in the hearts of men like it has in the past, and they've been quite beatable through the air all season. Orton has been the ultimate caretaker in the offense, throwing just one pick (and on a hail mary, no less) this season. He also had three multiple-TD games leading up to the week off, so he's been as consistent as they come.
• Alex Smith might have the starting job in San Francisco, but I'm leaving him on the bench in all leagues. Indianapolis isn't where you want to make your first start in years if you're a young QB. Expect No. 1 QB Peyton Manning to give Smith a clinic in quarterbacking over the course of this game.
• Chad Henne doesn't have many weapons at receiver that can catch (sorry, Ted Ginn, you're dead to Tony Sparano), so you probably wouldn't start him anyway. You might be looking at that juicy Week 5 line Henne turned in against the Jets, but you'd better believe they'll be ready for him this time around. Henne doesn't have to throw for the Dolphins to score points, so he won't.
