Did the injury bug hit your fantasy football team like it was a car windshield moving at 100 MPH? If so, it may be time to do some Damage Control.Running Back
• Donald Brown, Colts - Brown left with a strained shoulder on Sunday and did not return. More information will be learned this week.
• Leon Washington, Jets - Washington left Sunday's game with a broken leg. He'll be out for the season, although the Jets say they are going to wait to put him on injured reserve.
• Jonathan Stewart, Panthers - Stewart injured his finger and left the game on Sunday. He did return later in the game but you'll want to watch and see what he does in practice this week. Any kind of hand injury can wreak havoc on ball-carriers.
Wide Receiver
• Andre Johnson, Texans - Johnson left Sunday's game with a chest contusion. He was taken to the hospital for X-rays -- which came up negative. We'll get more information as the week progresses.
• Reggie Wayne, Colts - Wayne left Sunday's game with a groin injury but came back shortly after halftime. It will be important to watch how he practices this week to see if there are any lingering effects.
• Bernard Berrian, Vikings - Berrian left the game on Sunday with an apparent hamstring injury. He won't discuss his injury, but his thigh was wrapped after the game. He missed three week of training camp with a hamstring injury in August. His status will be updated throughout the week as he tries to practice.
• Muhsin Muhammad, Panthers - Muhammad left in the second quarter of Sunday's game with a knee injury but returned after halftime. Keep an eye on him early this week in practice.
• Terrell Owens, Bills - Owens mentioned on his twitter stream that he "banged up his knee a little bit". He's only averaging three catches and 40 yards receiving per game -- it's not like losing him for a week or so while he rested his knee would kill your team. Watch for news about his practice participation on Wednesday and Thursday to see if you'll need to go find an alternate receiver.
• Anquan Boldin, Cardinals - Boldin may have re-tweaked his ankle on Sunday night even though he had 75 yards receiving. He was replaced more frequently by Steve Breaston as the night went on. Boldin will likely be limited a bit in practice this week, but pay attention to see just how much.
Tight End
• Jermichael Finley, Packers - Finley sprained his knee on Sunday and could miss a few weeks. He's scheduled to have an MRI on Monday which will help to determine how much time he'll miss.
Individual Defensive Player
• Will Allen, Dolphins - Allen jogged off of the field Sunday after sustaining a left knee injury. Drew Brees led the Saints to a huge comeback after Allen left, showing just how important Allen is to the secondary. Late Sunday evening the Dolphins announced that Allen had a torn ACL and will miss the rest of the season.
• Lawrence Timmons, Steelers - Timmons left the game on Sunday with a right ankle injury. He was walking around on the sideline during the game but did not return.
• Bob Sanders, Colts - Sanders played for the first time this season but left in the fourth quarter. The Colts say his departure wasn't due to an injury, but we'll watch for further confirmation.
• Allen Rossum, Cowboys - Rossum injured his hamstring on his first kick return as a member of the Cowboys. More updates will follow when new information is provided.
