Fall is slowly turning into the milder parts of winter as some areas of the country are starting to see snow. It's rain, however, that's going to affect a few NFL games on Sunday -- especially in the northeast.

Kansas City at Washington: It's going to rain all night from the mid-Atlantic region all the way up to the northeast. FedEx Field is going to get all that rain on Saturday night and Sunday morning and the forecast drops to a 50% chance of the rain continuing at game-time. Not that either of these teams live by massive aerial attacks, but the ball is going to be slick on Sunday so the running game may be leaned on more.

Buffalo at New York Jets: Anyone who is still awake at 12:30 AM ET early Sunday morning watching the American League Championship Series knows that the weather is nasty in New York City. While it's odd to see baseball being played in such a downpour, football games are played in just about every type of weather. The field will be soggy and there's a 80% chance that the rain will still be falling at game time.

Tennessee at New England: It's not supposed to start raining in Foxboro until early Sunday morning. At 7:00 AM ET the skies are supposed to open up (70% chance) and dump rain all afternoon. The Titans aren't supposed to be 0-and-5 at this point but they are supposed to have a better rushing attack than New England, and they do. Betting on Chris Johnson and his six yards-per-carry average could be smart on Sunday. And the rain could be the equalizer the Titans need.
