I usually put Peyton Manning at the top of the QB column, but with the Colts off in Week 6, I can't do that this week, can I? The new No. 1 is as clear a choice as Manning usually is, since he has a fantastic matchup. Drew Brees, a great talent and one of two QBs (along with Manning) that I want on my team over all other contenders, has a terrible matchup against the Giants. That sinks his ranking this week and places him out of the top five.1. Aaron Rodgers, GB vs. DET
2. Tom Brady, NE vs. TEN
3. Matt Schaub, HOU at CIN
4. Donovan McNabb, PHI at OAK
5. Matt Ryan, ATL vs. CHI
6. Ben Roethlisberger, PIT at CLE
7. Drew Brees, NO vs. NYG
8. Matt Hasselbeck, SEA vs. ARI
9. Kurt Warner, ARI at SEA
10. Philip Rivers, SD vs. DEN
11. David Garrard, JAC vs. STL
12. Joe Flacco, BAL at MIN
13. Jay Cutler, CHI at ATL
14. Brett Favre, MIN vs. BAL
15. Eli Manning, NYG at NO
16. Carson Palmer, CIN vs. HOU
17. Kyle Orton, DEN at SD
18. Jake Delhomme, CAR at TB
19. Matt Cassel, KC at WAS
20. Marc Bulger, STL at JAC
21. Jason Campbell, WAS vs. KC
22. Daunte Culpepper, DET at GB
23. Josh Johnson, TB vs. CAR
24. Kerry Collins, TEN at NE
25. Mark Sanchez, NYJ vs. BUF
26. Trent Edwards, BUF at NYJ
27. Derek Anderson, CLE at PIT
28. JaMarcus Russell, OAK vs. PHI
29. Michael Vick, PHI at OAK
• With Kevin Walter back with the Texans, you have to like Matt Schaub in any matchup. While the Bengals will bracket Andre Johnson, Schaub should be able to find Walter and Owen Daniels for big gains all day.
• I'll take both Matt Ryan and Ben Roethlisberger over Brees this week. The Falcons completely obliterated a pretty good defense on the road last week, and now they're at home against the Bears. The Browns don't have enough people to cover all the Steelers' weapons.
• When the game isn't on the line in the fourth quarter, Carson Palmer has been pretty bad this season. Of course, with the horrid run defense of Houston, Palmer might not have to pass at all to win this game. I'm benching him if I have another solid option.
• Mark Sanchez may look like he has a great matchup, but the Bills haven't given up much through the air, as teams prefer to pound them on the ground. It's great that Braylon Edwards is in town, but the Jets should be without Jerricho Cotchery again this week. Bench Sanchez in all but two-QB leagues this week.
