Fantasy Football Bust a Move: Welcome To the Show, Pierre Garcon

Fantasy FanHouse's "Bust a Move" segment provides quick-hitting insight on the most popular adds and drops across Fleaflicker fantasy leagues between Tuesday and Wednesday of each week. Knowing who is on the move during this 24-hour period often provides a valuable edge with regard to outperforming or underperforming players, injuries and depth chart shifts. So do as the man says, "Don't just stand there..."

The Adds

Pierre Garcon (WR, Colts, 5,354 adds) -- It's about time. We've only been talking up Garcon for two solid weeks now. Despite the massive attack on Garcon, he's still available in 86 percent of leagues at the time of this writing. After two solid games -- both with touchdowns -- this should change fast. Besides, how can anyone honestly pass up the temptation make waiter jokes in a French accent for the remainder of the season?

Glen Coffee (RB, 49ers, 3,596 adds) -- Do Fleaflicker fantasy owners have a screw loose? Indeed over 3,000 teams added Coffee, but again he remains available in 84 percent of leagues. Coffee provides the biggest lock for a good value with Frank Gore out for three weeks. If you can get him, do it and start him. Trust me. You have two games of guaranteed heavy work (one week is a bye). Beyond that, Gore expects to return, but nothing is certain so perhaps there will be more.

Tashard Choice (RB, Cowboys, 3,377 adds) -- The name of the game this week is injuries. Marion Barber remains questionable this week and backup Felix Jones is now out until about Week 7. Hence, Tashard Choice gets the call if Barber cannot go. Keep in mind, Barber is pretty much a machine, so nothing is certain here. Still, at this point it does look like we'll see at least one week of a relatively full load for Choice.

Vernon Davis (TE, 49ers, 3,018 adds) -- After scoring two touchdowns and picking up 96 yards last week, it looks like the musclebound freak of nature may finally pay dividends after a number of disappointing seasons.

Bengals Defense (D/ST, Bengals, 2,061 adds) -- Fantasy owners add defenses like investors chase performance. Cincinnati tallied a sack, an interception and a touchdown last week, so this week players are adding. Fortunately, the Bengals have Cleveland on the docket for Week 4, so this looks like a decent play this week. Beyond that, I'm not entirely convinced.

Saints Defense (D/ST, Saints, 1,684 adds) -- The Saints on the other hand, seem to have something going on defense. They put up solid fantasy numbers consistently thus far and look like they're for real. Last week, the unit added another four sacks and and interception. This week, they play the not-for-long 3-0 Jets. We'll see if they give the rook a rude awakening.

Matt Prater (K, Broncos, 1,810 adds) -- Hey, if a kicker can score 11 points, why not chase it to see if he keeps it going? Plus, judging by the Broncos' brilliant goal-line offense of attempting the same running play three straight times, he may be seeing a lot of action.

Fred TaylorFred Taylor (RB, Patriots, 1,463 adds) -- Fred Taylor finally broke through the mess in the New England backfield and cracked 100 yards with a touchdown. Hence, one might expect he will see the lion's share of the carries going forward. I'd probably give it another game or two before inserting him in the lineup though, because there is a chance of getting burned. Wait to see if this looks like a consistent theme.

Lawrence Tynes (K, Giants, 1,303 adds) -- Tynes must be on the list based on folks who rotate through kickers, because he missed a field goal last week. Still, he seems to get the opportunities, so he always makes a decent start.

Mark Sanchez
(QB, Jets, 1,136 adds) -- After a three-touchdown effort and becoming the first rookie to go 3-0 since 1970, fantasy players are starting to believe. Frankly, this passing game does not look that impressive yet, but if you need a backup, stash him on your bench as he should be a decent play later in the season.

The Drops

Byron Leftwich (QB, Buccaneers, 1,874 drops) -- This should come as no surprise after the 22-yard outing against the Giants, but Leftwich done got himself benched. The speedy second-year man Josh Johnson will inherit the disaster. Stay away.

Laurent Robinson (WR, Rams, 1,522 drops) -- Out for the season; cut him loose. Maybe Donnie Avery will finally emerge as a worthwhile commodity?

Carnell Williams (RB, Buccaneers, 1,286 drops) -- That little feel-good story of the year ended before it ever got started. After making us all believers in Week 1, Cadillac followed up with consecutive nine- and eight-yard rushing efforts, making him irrelevant for fantasy owners.

Mike Bell (RB, Saints, 1,236 drops) -- It looks like Pierre Thomas scared Mike Bell owners off with his amazing second-half performance last week. We haven't heard much on Bell's status, so it might be a tad early to cut the cord here.

Neil Rackers (K, Cardinals, 1,491 drops) -- If you are still reading, here is a little tip for you: Rackers made this list because he has a bye this week. Hence, he is being dropped by people who need to plug in a kicker. You might be able to snag him off the waiver wire if you want.
