Did the injury bug hit your fantasy football team like it was a car windshield moving at 100 mph? If so, it may be time to do some Damage Control.
Quarterbacks
Matt Hasselbeck, Seahawks -- Hasselbeck suffered a fractured rib after a hard hit in Sunday's loss to the 49ers. While Hasselbeck claims he might not have to miss a game, don't count on him in Week 3. Seneca Wallace should get the start, but you'd be better off going with someone with a more favorable matchup, like Marc Bulger or Kevin Kolb.
Jason Campbell, Redskins -- He played through a sprained foot against the Rams and could be limited when the Redskins return to practice. No worries, all systems should be go against Detroit.
Kurt Warner, Cardinals -- After leaving Sunday's game late in the third quarter due to a right shoulder injury, Warner downplayed it as just a little soreness. Plan to start him as usual versus Indianapolis.
Donovan McNabb, Eagles -- It might be another week on the shelf for McNabb despite a sweet matchup vs. the Chiefs. Andy Reid said Monday that McNabb is making progress but Kevin Kolb could get the call again. Whoever gets the start, it'll be a prime opportunity to rack up points.
Running Backs
Marion Barber, Cowboys -- A strained quad muscle is the diagnosis for Marion the Barbarian. It looks like he won't play, so expect Felix Jones to get the majority of carries. It's a great time to roll out Felix if you have him since the Panthers are on tap. They've allowed an average of 168 rushing yards over their first two games.Brian Westbrook, Eagles -- The dreaded "questionable" label is on Westbrook. After spraining his ankle in Sunday's loss, it looks like rookie LeSean McCoy could see an increased role against the Chiefs. Hit the waiver wire and see if McCoy is available in shallow leagues, especially after his solid effort vs. the Saints (18 yards rushing, 37 yards receiving).
Mike Bell, Saints -- Is it time for Pierre Thomas to get back in the groove? An MRI showed no structural damage on Bell's right knee, but it's anyone's guess if he can play against Buffalo. With Thomas and Reggie Bush both in the mix, don't be surprised to see the Saints rest Bell for a couple of weeks.
Frank Gore, 49ers -- Gore is probable for a tilt with the Vikings after suffering a sprained right ankle. Franky G should play, but now's not a bad time to stash Glen Coffee, even if you don't have Gore. With his heavy workload it wouldn't be a surprise to see Gore miss a game at some point.
Jerious Norwood, Falcons -- Norwood left Sunday's game against the Panthers with a head injury, but his backup Jason Snelling said that he's "fine."
Cedric Benson, Bengals -- A slight ankle sprain is no reason for worry. The intense workload the Bengals are giving him? We'll see how that affects his long-term value. He's tied for the NFL lead with 50 carries.
Wide Receivers
DeSean Jackson, Eagles -- After breaking through with a 100-yard game in Week 2, a questionable tag is likely for Jackson. He's dealing with a strained groin and Jason Avant would be a sneaky WR3 play if Jackson misses this week's game.Troy Williamson, Jaguars -- Williamson's season ends as soon as it begins. A torn labrum is the culprit and Mike Sims-Walker will take over as a starter. If you're looking for depth, click on Walker's name in your waivers. He collected 106 yards and a TD on six catches in Week 2.
Domenik Hixon, Giants - He suffered a sprained knee against the Cowboys. Meanwhile, Steve Smith and Mario Manningham tore it up. No fantasy value here.
Individual Defensive Players
Justin Tuck, Giants -- A shoulder injury knocked him out of Sunday night's victory and severity is unknown at the time of this post.
Ernie Sims, Lions -- Coach Jim Schwartz says Sims will likely miss some time due to a "fairly significant" shoulder injury. If you were relying on Sims in a deep IDP league, try Eric Barton this week.
Jermaine Phillips, Buccaneers -- On the shelf, again. Phillips suffered a broken thumb in Tampa Bay's loss to Buffalo and will miss the remainder of the season.
Peria Jerry, Falcons -- Ouch, so much for Jerry's rookie season. The defensive tackle tore up his knee and was placed on injured reserve.

Expert Opinion appreciated: Would you drop either Ray Rice Or D. Mcfadden to pick up Mendenhall? There was more hype to the guys I drafted but w/ injuries to Oakland's line & Time Share in Baltimore & Willie slowing down, I don't think it'd be a bad move...
(It might not be a great move either!)

I wish the Raiders would ditch McFadden... so the Chargers could get him! They need an every-down back to replace LT.

I would definitely rather have McFadden than Mendenhall at this point. With Rice, sure he isn't the breakout he has been, but he's still going to see just as many touches (if not more) than Mendy and his offensive line is much better. I'd stand pat for now.
