We know over the course of the season, it appears tight end is going to be a deep position, and this week there seem to be a lot of good plays. Sure, it's top-heavy, as the top four form the proverbial "Big Four," but take a look in the teens. There are plenty of viable options this week with a chance to put up numbers rivaling anyone in the top 10. Of course, we're pretty confident Dallas Clark goes nuts against the Jags at home.

• We know Kyle Orton loved his tight ends in Chicago. We also know he is playing through an injured index finger on his throwing hand this weekend. Thus, the accuracy deep -- which was already suspect -- is going to be a problem. He'll be throwing to outlets often. Give Scheffler even more of a bump in PPR leagues. I'm liking more than five catches easily.
• We love Shiancoe this season and, yes, the Browns' defense doesn't appear to be overly intimidating. He didn't get a significant bump this week, though, because we don't expect the Vikings to have to throw the football much to win the game. They'll run all over them and then run down the clock to victory.
• The Cowboys had trouble last season with opposing tight ends. Granted, it's a new year, but Winslow is a very talented tight end, so he can exploit any lingering weakness. He's not ranked higher because we question how well Byron Leftwich can get him the football consistently. He's a good low-end option.
• Deep, deep, deep-leaguer low-end? McMichael. Marc Bulger has to throw to someone over the middle and the Seahawks have a few holes there.
